Missionary Friends

My good friend Tyler has been called to Spokane, Washington, and asked me to take his missionary pictures. I was thrilled to do this, and I think they turned out really well. Hopefully this won't be my last set of missionary pictures. Enjoy!

Family reunion

We had a family reunion for my dad's side in Provo, Utah this summer. I only had my camera with me for breakfast one day, so I only have candid shots, but the ones of the youngest cousins turned out so well!

A Dubois Parade

While we were in Yellowstone, we spent the 4th of July in a town called Dubois. It was such a neat little town! We went to their parade, which was wonderful.

Yellowstone some more....

While in the geyser park, we saw so many neat birds -- especially a lot of osprey. I got some really neat shots of this osprey spiraling around the geysers -- enjoy!

Yellowstone: Geysers

The park around Old Faithful was absolutely breathtaking! The geysers and pools were so neat! Some of them, like this first one haven't been polluted or touched at all, and they are so amazingly blue. Others, like Morning Glory, the last pictures in this post, have turned all sorts of gorgeous colors from people throwing things into them. The water is boiling all the time, and there is steam everywhere. It was a neat place to take pictures.

More Yellowstone

Everything in Yellowstone is so green -- it's quite a change from all the desert landscape here! I loved how picturesque this river was, it's so curvy and pretty!

Yellowstone

My family and I recently returned from a wonderful vacation to the Yellowstone National and Grand Teton National Parks. They were absolutely wonderful, and I got some really great shots there. It is so beautiful there, it was pretty hard to take a bad picture! These are the Grand Teton Mountains -- they are absolutely gorgeous! There was a lot of cloud cover while were there, which gives the pictures great drama, but makes it hard to get the right exposure. I'm still working on editing, but here are the Grand Tetons!
