While we were in Yellowstone, we spent the 4th of July in a town called Dubois. It was such a neat little town! We went to their parade, which was wonderful.
While in the geyser park, we saw so many neat birds -- especially a lot of osprey. I got some really neat shots of this osprey spiraling around the geysers -- enjoy!
The park around Old Faithful was absolutely breathtaking! The geysers and pools were so neat! Some of them, like this first one haven't been polluted or touched at all, and they are so amazingly blue. Others, like Morning Glory, the last pictures in this post, have turned all sorts of gorgeous colors from people throwing things into them. The water is boiling all the time, and there is steam everywhere. It was a neat place to take pictures.
Everything in Yellowstone is so green -- it's quite a change from all the desert landscape here! I loved how picturesque this river was, it's so curvy and pretty!
My family and I recently returned from a wonderful vacation to the Yellowstone National and Grand Teton National Parks. They were absolutely wonderful, and I got some really great shots there. It is so beautiful there, it was pretty hard to take a bad picture! These are the Grand Teton Mountains -- they are absolutely gorgeous! There was a lot of cloud cover while were there, which gives the pictures great drama, but makes it hard to get the right exposure. I'm still working on editing, but here are the Grand Tetons!
